Theres no need to "Reprogram" your router.
A) Remove the power cable from the back of your router.
B) "Reboot" your DSL modem. In some cases there is a reset button on the bottom or back of the DSL modem. In other cases you must remove the power cord then remove the battery - then put it back together.
C) One the DSL modem has power, restore power to the router.
D) I would at this point reboot your PC in case a new IP was assigned (Unlikely, but to be safe)

If your router is a cable router call the cable company and have them reset the router back to factory specs. If it's a DSL modem, the phone company can do the same thing.

Zoom X7n Dsl 2/2 Modem/router/gw DSL light will not stop blinking - trying to connect with Earthlink

Earthlink is not your local telephone company? You would need to contact your local service provider. If earthlink set up your DSL thru your local telephone company, you may have to have them contact them. Does your local phone to you or do you subscribe thru what they call a CLEC?

Internet drops in and out. seems to connect again once the landline phone is used. new filters have been brought - no difference. phone line is clear. ISP have no known problem. speed test is very low. is...

If it is connected to a DSL modem then chances are that it is the modem dropping the connection every time a spike in line voltage occurs. Might want to try directly connecting to the modem and seeing if it still happens, if so then it is the ISP that you need to contact. If not then your router may be on the fritz.

Best of luck

How to connect dsl cable with generic android tablet pc

What you need is a wireless router which is connected with the dsl cable and it should be configured to broadcast signales, ip addresses and security etc. Usually this service is provided by Internet service provider companies (ISPs) which give dsl connection. If your generic android PC has a network connector port (called RJ-45) built in then there is a chance that you can directly connect it with the dsl cable otherwise you have to take Wifi signals from the wireless router to get internet in the device.

Hi, I need to connect my comSwitch 5500 to the Cable/internet/VOIP. Command Communications ComSwitch 5500 is a Telephone Line Sharing system- (automatic phone/Fax Switch) sold under the following...

I'm not one hundred percent sure on this, but it does look like you need a separate phone line since VOIP revolves around using your internet as a gateway for making phone calls. And since majority of VOIP uses ethernet connections, or wireless, there is no phone line to use.

Just connected router to clear network modem and VoIP (wireless phone service), now when the phone ring, it disconnects me from the internet and the connection is lost until the phone call is complete.

Is your modem a DSL or cable modem?
If it is a DSL modem do you have a DSL filter on each phone line to the phones in your house?
The DSL modem does not need a DSL filter on the phone line.
