The problem sounds like that the ribbon between the top part of the phone and the bottom part of the phone has came loose or that it has got dammaged i dont advise you to take the phone apart yourself as you will dammage it further this part isnt to expensive to replace but doing it yourself could result in the phone being further dammaged.

The only thing you could try is sliding it up and down a few times but whilst doing it push the two halves together not to hard but just a bit of pressure whilst you slide it open.

I have got one in bit in front of me and the problem with mine was the same as your and i had to take phone apart and i removed the ribon between the two halve i was going to replace it but i thought i give it a try so put it back in the phone and put it back together and then it worked fine.

If you think you want to do it yourself just bewarned it is very difficult to take apart and even more difficult putting back together every screw has to be undone in certain order and the same back together so it would be best to take to shop wont cost to much but would save oyu damaging phone further and then have phone that is no good.

does nothing at all work on the key board do the buttons on the top half work let me know how you get on ok

Slim folio will not be found with new Ipad 6th generation, we followed the instruction and nothing happens

You have missed a step. Read again carefully

Connect the Slim Folio keyboard case to iPad
Before you connect your iPad 5th Gen to the Slim Folio keyboard case, make sure it's inserted correctly into the case:

Place your iPad so the camera lines up with the camera lens cutout on the Slim Folio case.
Snap the corners of the iPad into the holder to secure it.

To connect for the first time

The Slim Folio case doesn't have an On/Off switch. To turn on your keyboard case, open it and rest the iPad on the strip directly above the keyboard. The status indicator on the top right of the keyboard will glow green.
On first connection, your keyboard enters Bluetooth discovery mode and the status indicator will blink blue rapidly.
Go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPad and select Slim Folio in the Devices list.
If your iPad requests a PIN, enter it using the keyboard (not on your iPad).
Once the connection is made, the status indicator will turn solid blue. Your keyboard is ready to use.

To connect to a different iPad

If you've already connected the Slim Folio case to an iPad and want to connect it to another one:

Rest the iPad on the strip directly above the keyboard. This activates the keyboard. You should see the status indicator glow green, and then blue.
Press the Bluetooth connection button on the right side of the keyboard to make your keyboard discoverable.
Go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPad and select Slim Folio in the Devices list.
If your iPad requests a PIN, enter it using the keyboard (not on your iPad).
Once the connection is made, the status indicator will turn solid blue. Your keyboard is ready to use.

Sync ihome wireless keyboard

Say the device you want to sync your keyboard to is an I pad.
Follow the I pad's normal Bluetooth pairing procedure. Around the same time, slide the switch on the back of the ip2101 from OFF to ON and then press the black button to the left of that switch. When the I pad recognizes the ip2101 keyboard, the I pad will display a pin number and instructions to type that pin number on the ip2101 keyboard and hit the enter key on the ip2101.

How to use accents when writing in Spanish in a Dell Precision m4500 laptop?

On Windows XP
  1. Log On
  2. Click the Start button
  3. Click on Control Panel
  4. Click Regional and Language Options - a new window will pop up
  5. Click the Languages tab
  6. Click on the Details button
  7. Click the Add button - a new window will pop up
  8. Select United States-International (keyboard layout menu)
  9. Click OK
  10. Click Apply
  11. Read the instructions for "Using the U.S. - International Keyboard" below.
Note: You will now have a keyboard icon on the taskbar (usually on the right side). To switch between keyboard layouts click the keyboard icon on the task bar and choose which layout you want to use. Changing the keyboard layout will only affect the log on profile used. No other users will be affected.

Windows Vista
  1. Start-->Control Panel-->Clock, Language, Region-->Change Keyboards
  2. New Window: Click the Change Keyboards button
  3. New Window: Click the Add button
  4. Select United States-International keyboard
  5. Click OK
  6. From drop down menu (Default Input Language) select United States International
Using the U.S. - International Keyboard If you followed the above directions carefully, your keyboard will now react slightly differently than it did before. First of all, notice that if you strike the single apostrophe (') key, nothing happens. To type the single apostrophe now, you must strike the single apostrophe key and then strike the space bar. When you strike the spacebar, the apostrophe will appear.
The next thing to note is that the quotes (") key behaves the same way as the apostrophe key. You must first strike the quotes key and then strike the space bar in order to create the (") symbol. These two minor inconveniences are more than made up for by the ease with which you can now type the special characters.
To type the special characters, two keystrokes are required. To type the ?, you need only strike the apostrophe key and then the letter a. The other characters are just as easy:
  • ? = ' + a
  • ? = ' + e
  • ? = ' + i
  • ? = ' + o
  • ? = ' + u
  • ? = ~ + n
  • ? = " + u
To type the special punctuation characters, you need to hold down on the Alt key while you strike the appropriate punctuation mark. On some keyboards, only one of the two Alt keys will work for this.
  • ¡ = Alt (hold down) + !
  • ¿ = Alt (hold down) + ?
Using Cryptic Codes If, for some reason, you don't want to change your keyboard, you can always type in the troublesome cryptic codes. Using this arcane system, the following codes apply:
  • ? = Alt + 0225
  • ? = Alt + 0233
  • ? = Alt + 0237
  • ? = Alt + 0243
  • ? = Alt + 0250
  • ? = Alt + 0241
  • ? = Alt + 0252
  • ¡ = Alt + 0161
  • ¿ Alt + 0191
When using this utterly out-dated system, there are two important things to remember. First, when you type in the numbers, some keyboards require that you use the "numeric keypad" located to the side, rather than the numbers along the top. Second, on some keyboards, only one of the two Alt keys will work for this.

My wireless logitech keyboard will not type. I have uninstalled & installed, booted computer up several times & still it will not work. What next?

Try that keyboard on another laptop or desktop computer. If it reacts the same way then you know for sure the keyboard is bad. If it works on another computer then that means its an issue with the original computer.

Also check to make sure you have fresh batteries inside of the keyboard as well.

Keys not working on lato ( you now now what

Check your keyboard for region code settings. Or check the key for the difference on other keys how it reacts on depressing and releasing. Maybe some foreign material that block the key to hit the contact underneath.

Or if this is a rubber type contact, might it is been teared already. Then replacement is an option.
