Problem for Black & Decker AM8 Coffee Maker
I have a Black and
I have a Black and decker DCM100b. It was brewing slowly. I tried rumning the vinegar and water solution and now no water is comming through at all. We have owned it for about 6 months

- actually what I did was loosen the hose and primed the pump with water and the water began to come out. So far so good. Thanks for the help though. I guess a inexperienced woman can fix something afterall.Solution #1

Can you hear the pump running? If so, then you may have a clogged or kinked hose. Have you tried to let it cool completely before trying to use it? If there is stuff in the hose and didn't get flushed out, then when it is stored, then stuff hardens up in pump and in hose.

It sounds like the heating element is gone bad feel the base to check and see if it is hot but be careful no to burn your hand just touch it quickly if it is not very hot the element is gone bad. the heating plate on the bottom acts as the water pump/heater for the unit as well so if it is not hot enough it will not boil the water to cause the water to flow through the machine.
