battery life actually depends on how much you use the phone. you'll find it on the manual that you have, (product specs). age of the phone shortens the battery life aswell. its also normal for the phone to heat up when we're charging it (but make sure its only warm and not super hot). none original chargers (imitations, local) can make the phone too hot too. so first things to check would be these, but if you're using all original parts for your phone, and if the phone is not even a year old, and you think its too hot when being charged and you're seldomly using it for calls or internet in a day, then bring it to a samsung shop so that they can replace it for you ;)

Is your phone charging, if it is charging, no problem.

The problem with your phone could be virus problem because virus runs battery down.

The second place to look at is the battery terminal of your phone, It is possible that the battery terminals are corrode, If the are, it will definitely keep running the battery down.

Look at these two areas with care and your problem could be solved.

The best option is to get it changed from a samsung service center inplace of of getting it repaired.Samsung gives warranty on the replaced hardware and one thing that you can be sure of is the Genuine parts.
Or if you want to save some bucks visit a local mobile repair shop.
Unfortunately it is chargeable and cannot be fixed by any individual coz it requires specific tools.

Well I would suggest exchanging it for another one or have a local cell store or the person you purchased it from help you to set it up.

If it has been dropped in water put it on the radiator for 2-3 days then try agen if it doesnt work buy a new battery if that doesnt work take it to your neerest phone shop.

The screen is just a thin plastic sheet, attached around the edges with an adhesive strip.

If you are careful you can insert a hobby knife, oe electricians screwdriver under the edge & prize it off.

If you are unsure, any mobile phone shop would be able to do it for you. Be careful though, Carphone warehouse wanted to charge me £40 for a new screen, as mine was also badly scratched, my local phone shop charged a tenner for the same job!!
