Either the USB Flash Drive or the Printer, not both

did you resolve this issue , beacause have the same problem with a Toshiba e studio e223 ?

Most likely it is the USB Cable. Try replacing it with a new good quality cable.

please install the drivers first and then try connecting

Don’t connect the printer usb cable first
1st you install the driver disc which is come along with the printer and when the software prompt you to connect the cable then plug the usb cable and follow the instruction.

You can try to connect the printer to a different USB port on your computer and if still doing the same thing better try also a different USB cable to check if this is a problem with the cable...

what is OS connect your printer ?
1. If windows,or mac, try delete (uninstall all drivers for them), restart PC, plug-n-play find your printer, so take them your drivers.
2. Connect printer other usb port. Turn off/on printer, restart PC
3. Trying replase USB cable (us cable not long 1,5 m)

I removed any printer configurations for this printer in both my pc and my mac (both usb and wireless). Then I restarted both computers and added the printer via usb again to each. At that point I went back to the extreme configuration and under the printers tab it was finally seeing Hewlett Packard Laserjet 1020. After that, adding via Bonjour went smoothly on both platforms.

I loss the drivers of HP LaserJet 1020 printer. I need now. Please help me.
