If the fans run, then ,check the lamp or lamp ballast
turn on the projector ,at the same time ,if you can hear a continuous beep beep sound (the ballast igniting the lamp)
means the lamp may be fault, and other parts is working well

SOURCE: no power to fan

Hi there.

Yes, this is a very common problem unfortunately.
It is in the controller board, which stops supplying the fan with enough voltage to start or continue to run. I fixed this problem using an old nokia charger, and some kiwi injinuity which fixed the problem brilliantly and no-one will ever notice =)
If you would like, I can tell you how and maybe get some pics of my one?

Cheers

The infocus LP600 won't power up

make sure the lamp door is engaging the safety switch. manually reset the lamp hours and reflash the software, if that don't work it's most likely the power supply.

Lp600 went dead

i had the same problem with my 2 years old infocus lp600. on the mains section of the power supply board you have 4 100uF/16v and 1 4,7uF/35V electrolyt condenser of a 85 degree type. that means it will work 2000 hours at 85 degree (celsius). since the power supply only switch off the lamp in standby with no fan the power supply get hot- i think about 70 degree. so after two years in stanby it is evident that this condensers loose halve of their capacity - after switch off no new start. changing this condensers with new ones of 105 degree type will solve tis problem. and for the future - no more stanby.
