Question about Nokia N70 Cellular Phone

N70 issue I had 2 songs in my Music player > music menu of N70.Now when i try to save any song,it shows me the following message-- Music player:Not enough memory t operform operaton.Delete some data first.The memory has 800MB free space and teh songs are of 6MB.

Ok first,transfer all your data to memory card using fexplore or file manager then check ur phone memory if it dont work try this 1. first type dis code *#7370# then press yes and then put your security code and it will format ur phone.
WARNING: remove ur memory card and try the second solution
and all data of phone memry will b erased

Downloading musics


To download music to the Nokia N70 music player, copy music files to your memory card.
Then open the Music Player by selecting My Own > Music from the main menu.
In the Music Player select Options > Update Collection.
Depending on the number of music files and the size of your memory card this may take a few seconds.

Bad music


The minimum requirements of your Sansa E250 is Windows XP and above and Windows Media Player 10 and above.

If you're using Windows Media Player 10 or above, your Sansa E250 and its contents should appear on the right pane when you click on the "Sync" tab. You can right click on a song and select "Remove". The songs will be erased permanently from the player.

If your songs do not appear on Windows Media Player 10 or above, it is possible that your songs may have been saved on another mode.

Your Sansa E250 comes in 2 modes: MTP and MSC. Songs saved on one mode will not be seen by the other mode, and vice versa.

There are 2 ways to delete songs from your Sansa :
By browsing the folders containing the songs, or by formatting the player.

You can switch modes by navigating your device menu using the following:

Menu >> Settings >> USB Mode

Next, plug your player in your PC and open Windows Explorer. You should first set your Explorer to "Show hidden Files and Folders" by going to the "Tools" menu (located on menu lists on Windows Explorer window), then choosing "Folder Options", then enabling the "Show Hidden Files and Folders" radio button

Deleting Music files under MTP Mode:

1. Your player should appear as a Sansa icon in Explorer as a "Portable Audio Device". Double left-click this icon to browse the player.
2. You'll find a "PPI NAND" sub-folder. Again, double left-click on this sub-folder.
3. You'll find a series of sub-folders, one of which should be titled "Music". Double left-click this to open it.
4. Your music should appear as individual files or folders. Delete this to remove the file(s) from the player

Deleting Music files under MTP Mode:

1. Your player should appear as a Drive letter and entitled either as a "Removable Drive" or as "Sansa "
2. Double left-click on this drive letter to browse the player
3. You may find your music files immediately on this folder, or you'll find a series of sub-folders, one of which should be titled "Music". Double left-click this to open it and view your music files.
4. Delete the music files you want, and they should be removed from the player

Deleting files through Format:

1. Formatting the player erases all files in the player, and oftentimes this is the best option to ensure that all files are removed and any corruption eliminated. Also, it is best to format the player when in MSC mode.
2. When the appears as a drive letter (under MSC mode), right-click on that drive letter and select "Format". On the "Format" pop-up window, click "Start" to begin the format process.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts and safely remove the player from your PC when the "Format Complete" display appears.
4. Unplug the player from the PC and when the player is powered up, the message "No Files" should appear on the player's LCD screen
5. Switch the mode back to "MTP", or continue to use "MSC". Note: It is best to use "MTP" when you are transferring subscription music to the player.

Cannot save music files


look 800mb free space is on the memory card ok

so if you have any files saved in phone memory transfer it to memory card

if you recieve any song from bluetooth the phone memory should be double than the file you are recieving so try the other solution.

i give you a code that will not erase any data *#7780#

go to message menu then press options and press settings and come down to other press that and change the memory options to memory card instead of phone memory hope it works

Hi Raxter. As long as you can save files to the player (seems like pictures and video work just fine, right?), then the player is not experiencing any corruption or firmware issues. Perhaps the issue lies with the songs you're synchronizing to the player. There are several reasons why you would encounter errors when synchronizing songs to the player: (1) File type is not supported by the player -- MP3 (with a bit rate of 128 Kbps) and WMA files (with a bit rate of 64 Kbps) are the only supported music file type. MP3 music normally converted via iTunes is not guaranteed to work on this player. (2) Windows Media Player 10 is the only tested Microsoft player version to work on this player (trust me, I've had my bouts with other Windows Media Player versions lol.) Version 11 works, but I have had issues with the player experiencing errors when syncing songs. (3) If the songs are licensed or subscription, it's probably best that you use the subscription provider's media software to "synchronize" the songs into the player (like Rhapsody or Napster player. Music Match often causes the player to "restart" -- I have no idea why, better call them). Some music providers are unable to actually support the player (or recognize it for that matter). It would be best if you contacted the subscription provider to give you instructions on how to synchronize the songs from their website. If your songs are non-licensed songs (like songs from ripped audio CDs, Limewire, etc), then it's best to switch the player's mode to MSC and transfer the songs by simply "Dragging and Dropping" or "Copy/pasting" the songs to your player. To switch your player's mode to MSC, navigate the Menu as follows: Menu >> Settings >> USB Mode I hope that would resolve the problem you're encountering with your player. There is another way to reset your player, but I'm hoping these options would actually let you transfer files successfully. Let me know the results.

Hi tater. Hmmm. The product category you selected is for a Standard E260. But if your player is an E250R (Rhapsody player), here's a set of procedures that might help you. Deleting songs from your E250R can be done in 2 ways: By using Windows Media Player 10 or 11, or by browsing the player through Windows Explorer. Before you delete files, though, it's important to know that your player comes in 2 modes: "Rhapsody" and "PlaysForSure". The reason why is that music files saved in one mode would not be seen in the other mode, and vice versa. Therefore, if you can't find the music files in your player, switch to the other mode. Here's how to do it: Use the "Menu" button to navigate the player as follows: Menu > Settings > Mode > This will give you the option of: "Rhapsody" and "PlaysForSure". Here's how to delete your songs: (1) By Using WIndows Media Player: > Plug your Sansa to your computer and open your Windows Media Player. > If your Windows Media Player is version 10, then click on the "Sync" tab and you should see your player ("E250R") on the right pane along with its folders, named "Data" and "Media" or "Music". Expand the "Media" folder and you'll see the "Music" folder containing your songs. Right-click on a song and select "Remove" to delete them. > If your Windows Media Player is version 11, then either click on the "Sync" or "Library" tab and you'll see your player listed on the left pane. The music files will be displayed on the center window. Right-click on a song and select "Delete" to delete the songs. Double left-click on your Sansa E250R and you'll see 2 sub-folders named "Data" and "Media". Open the "Media" folder and you'll find sub-folders normally named after the Artist. Your songs are located on those Artist folders. Delete them by using the keyboard "Delete" key or right-click the file and select "Delete" > If your player is in "Rhapsody" mode, then your player will be recognized as a "Removable Drive" with a drive letter. Double left-click on your Sansa E250R and you'll see the following sub-folders: "Albums", "Music", "Photo", "Pictures", "Playlist", etc. Your songs can be found in the "Music" sub-folder. Delete them by using the keyboard "Delete" key or right-click the file and select "Delete" I hope this procedure helps. A bit lengthy but, hey, it worked for me (lol).
