Question about ViewSonic VA800 17.4" Flat Panel LCD Monitor
I am using fedora core 6 with nvidia GF 7200GS graphichs card. But LG Flatron L1730S giving the error out of range 92.8KHZ/58HZ when I am attempting to go in graphics mode.
Bugcafe: LCD monitors work best when you system is set for the native resolution of the monitor, and at not more than about 75 Hz refresh. For a 15 inch LCD that's 1024 x 768 and for a 17 inch it's 1280 x 1024. In windows you would right click on the desktop, select settings, and select the "display settings" tab. This is where it gets fuzzy for me as I am not Windows user. I believe there will be an advanced button you can select to manually enter the settings. You can also do this in windows "safe mode" which should get you a better screen in which to perform the operation if doing it with the LCD connected. Enter safe mode from a reboot by using the "F8" key.
