there is a problem with your settings i think ..u hav a check with what type of games can be played in it..if the formet is different u cant play it..u try upgrading the psp..if nothing happen u see this site to solve the problem...
You need to have quite new firmware, and if you do, it is on the far right of the start-up menu. You can update your firmware on the far left of your screen!
Good Luck!
It m be possible that when You are playing a game, you may be hitting a button close to the menu button and the PSP may be registering it as a menu press. The only thing I can think of is to be careful how hard you puss the buttons so as not to fool the PSP.
Please turn on your PSP and once in the menu mode press select to enter your XMB menu and be sure your settings are something like this (sorry but our tester psp is currently disassembled) =
CPU Speed - Normal/default Game Clock - Normal/default USB - Memory Card Default ISO Video mount device - None
You can email me if you want the exact list. We will have our tester PSP in one piece again by tomorrow. Also, if this doesn't fix your PSP try reinstalling your firmware.
PRESS R TRIGGER WHEN YOU SWITCH ON YOUR PSP A RECOVERY MENU WILL BE DISPLAYED THEN GO TO TOGGLE USB AND CONNECT YOUR DATA
CABLE AND IN YOUR XCOMPUTER YOU WILL SEE A REMOVABLE DISK WILL COME AND
OPEN IT AND GO TO GAME FOLDER AND MAKE A FOLDER NAMED RECOVERY AND
PASTE SONY OFFICAL 1.5 FW IN IT AND THEN GO TO RECOVERY MENU
bet you are playing on a slim, turn of the umd cache in system settings then the problem stops perhaps the game (driver 76) doesnt support the umd cache system using the extra ram in the psp slim
well it worked for me anyway
