I have an Archos 70 internet tablet. Forgotten password, so how do I get it back to factory settings please?

- Turn off the device and wait 10 seconds.
- Press and hold the volume + button while powering on the device.
- Keep the volume + pressed until the Recovery mode starts (white screen).
- To move from one option to another, use the volume buttons. To select an option, press the ON/OFF button.

Have bought a prontotec axius 7inch tablet. My son has forgotten the password and it won't let me restore back to factory settings please help

The only way to bypass a forgotten password is to do a factory reset, so please check and verify you are doing the reset correctly.

How can unloxk ipad foegot password

You have to plug the iPad into the computer that you originally connected it with. Then you have to "restore iPad to factory settings". This will of course erase all your data but at least you will have your iPad back.

Sound gone on my archos 80 cobalt tablet

I have the same problem. No sound at all on my Archos Cobalt 80 tablet. Hasn't been dropped, bumped; just suddenly stopped working. Tablet has been formatted, soft and hard reset, backed up and restored to factory default settings, updated the firmware and still no sound. Any help is appreciated thanks.

How to connect archos 70 to the internet

You can use either Wifi or cell phone "tethering", which means connecting to your cell phone via Bluetooth and using it for connection to the internet. Just go to the Settings / Network settings and choose either Wifi or tethering and wizard will guide you with setting it up.

Just use the provided USB cable and connect the tablet to PC. Windows will recognize it as another drive (USB Mass Storage similar as USB HDDs and USB sticks). Copy the APK file anywhere (for example to Downloads folder. Then unplug from PC and run the Files application on Archos. Browse to the directory and clicking on the APK filewill start installation process.

For your tablet, to get Yahoo! mail you have to activate POP setting; to activate pop on your Yahoo!Mail account you have to pay for it.
Now, if you once signed up for Yahoo! Mail Plus, add a new email account to your email program with the following POP and SMTP settings:

1. Yahoo! Mail POP server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
2. POP port: 995
3. POP TLS/SSL: yes
4. POP user name: your Yahoo! ID
5. password: your password

1. Yahoo! Mail SMTP server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
2. SMTP port: 465
3. SMTP TLS/SSL: yes
4. SMTP user name: your ID
5. SMTP password: your password

In case you will have some errors/problems having such settings you have to:

# Log in to Yahoo! Mail
# select OPTIONS > MAIL OPTIONS > go to POP/FORWARDING > choose VIEW POP on Yahoo!Mail Server.

Hi!

In order for you to remove the password, you need to reset your wireless router. You didn't mention what brand and model of your router, but anyway all routers have a "reset button" just look for it on your router. It is usually found at the back of the router and it is very small, you need a pin or anything long and thin to insert into it in order to push it for about 10 seconds.
