Try plugging your device to the USB port in the back of the computer. On older computers, the front USB ports are USB1 while the ones in the back are USB2, and I've seen it happen when some devices would go completely unnoticed if they were plugged into USB1.

If that doesn't help, try plugging it into a different computer. If that computer also doesn't recognize it, the problem may lie in the device.

My computer does't recognize the mp3's file anymore

Try using a can of air and blowing into the plug in on the player. If that doesn't work then take it to the store and see if they can help.

Keeps freezing and now my computer doesnt recognize it anymore

Try to use a different USB cable or try to plug your mp3 player to a different computer to check if that's is just the USB connector or the player itself.

It wont be recognized my musix pd-6070

try uninstalling it with the add/remove hardware opt. on control panel. check hidden devices on device list to see all devices. then plug it back in after its uninstalled. If that doesnt work try using free version of real player, it has drivers for most mp3 players and will work with many more than media player 10.

Phillips Go Gear 6GB

The Phillips website has a solution for this:
Go to the FAQ for this mp3 player. It'll tell you to install the Device Manger which will repair the problem. I've done this, however, the Device Manager claims my mp3 Player is not connected.

Try this yourself, you might have better luck.
