Aux appears on screen and has frozen the set. I have tried to reprogram and cannot do that. I have tried to get the menu options and the only thing that appears is the sound level, nothing else works.

Orion TV 1933 stuck on AUX

I assume that pushing the channel up and channel down buttons does nothing. You could try unplugging it overnight and see if it's forgotten its settings come morning. But if that doesn't work, you're probably going to have to get a universal remote and program it to your TV. Quite a number of TVs (and DVD players and VCRs for that matter) no longer have a full set of controls on the TV. Some things just can't be done without the remote (a fact that really irritates me). -Dyllan

Unable to switch to Aux in order to play xbox 360

at JVC Support Page , download owners manual , listed above , on page 35 , it appears you should press INPUT button and cycle thru TV / video 1 / video 2 / V2 component / and video .

depending what video input option you used to hook up your Xbox to , you should be able to figure it out from here.

Zenith tv model # H27H38DT

You can get the installation guide for a Zenith H27H38DT free at the following location. Look on page 36 to go into the VIDEO MENU and set PICTURE PREF to PRESET. That should restore the factory settings, so try that first. If you go into the actual Installer Menu on page 41, proceed with caution.

Sylvania SST4272

I had the same problem with a Sylvania SRT2227S. I kept trying to fix it using the remote but after reading your posting I pressed the Volume (down) button, which cycled through the same menus you mentioned. Then I pressed the Power button on the TV and that fixed it.

The problem started for me when pressed PIP, CC, and Guide buttons on a Philips universal remote control. My TV does not support these functions and it seems to put it in this "service mode". Now I can fix it by pressing Volume (down) or Menu then the Power button on the TV (do not use the remote as it is useless when the TV is in this mode). I hope this works for you too.

Audio problem

In your set's menu you should have an option to turn off/on the internal speakers,If you bring the menu up on the screen you should see options to change the video settings like color, brightness but also ther should be an option for audio witch include balance, treble, that screen you should see the option that says speakers try switching between on or off. Please let Us know how it goes or if you need more information.
