SOURCE: have second hand lexmark e260dn and status light
Blinking status light means the printer is busy. If it's not doing anything else, disconnect the printer from the computer. Restart the printer and then print a menu settings page. Clear the print queue on your computer before re-attaching the printer. Thanks.
Testimonial: "Thanks for your help. It looks like this can't be repaired though so I'm getting a replacement."
SOURCE: I need to know what
There are 6 led lights on the printer panel and 2 buttons (Cancel -red button and Continue-green button). The lights can be OFF, ON, Blinking and Slow blinking. I'd be glad to provide you information about this, but I would like to verify if you are referring to a blinking light, slow blinking or solid light (ON).
Also you may download the user guide available from Lexmark's website. On the user guide you may go to page 21 Understanding the printer control panel light sequences.

Toner light is ON, I would assume that the light is solid and not blinking. You can press and release to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. With the printer turned off, remove the toner cartridge and shake it to extend its life. Check the replacement toner cartridge if it is the one suitable for your region. If the blinking light is on Toner Low, press and release the Continue button (green button) to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. If the light is still blinking, the photoconductor is almost full and should be replaced. For further assistance, please call Lexmark Technical Support.
