So, yesterday suddenly, my Yepp decided it was not going to turn off. I
went to shut it down, then plugged it into my PC to change the content
on it, and it started up again. So I stopped the process, ejected it
from the PC, and turned it off again. It stayed off for a moment, then
turned back on. Since then (over 12 hours) it continuously turns back
on. I let it stay on, and let the battery run out, and charged it again
fully, but it still seems to keep turning back on. It is no longer
being recognized by my computer (both xp and vista OS) both PCs have
the samsung media studio installed - i do not know which version. I
have also tried setting it to factory default. I'm not sure what to do,
i can't change the files on the mp3 player if it's not being
recognized, and it would be nice to turn it off and it stay off. I emailed Samsung tech support and they basically just told me that i needed the Samsung media studio installed which didn't help me at all. I suspect something is up with the powersupply, but i have no experience with mp3 players. Does anyone have any suggestions?
