Question about Honeywell Programmable Thermostat Heater
I have a T8085D1996 Honeywell thermostat in the house that I purchased. What are the red removable tabs for? How is this thermostat programmed (other than the obvious heat/air choice)?
There should be both red and blue tabs. You push them into slots on the large dial to start and stop the heating or cooling. You can find a manual for a similar model, such as T8090 on several websites. One is GoGeisel.com.
