Re: I Droped my player
See if the manufacturer has a recovery tool on their website. If not: Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware. Wizard.

There is a led light in the upper right corner of the front. The controls are on the large round button in the center. To turn in on, press in the center of the button; the device will turn on and playback will begin. To turn it off, press AND HOLD the center of the button until the LED light flashes several times and then turns off.
To play, press the center of the button and the LED should come on and stay solid. To pause, press the center and the LED will blink once a second Press again and playback will resume.
Think of the big button as a clock face. Press at 12 for volume UP. Press at 3 for next track; HOLD for fast forward. Press at 6 for volume DOWN. Press at 9 for previous track; HOLD for rewind.
For shuffle, press at 12 and 6 together and hold for 2 full seconds. The LED will flash 4 times to show you are in shuffle mode. To go back to normal playback, press at 12 and 6 together for 2 full seconds and the LED will flash 2 times to show you are back to normal mode.
Sounds like you have caused some type of physical damage to the device when you dropped it..the only solution would be is to hope it's covered under the 1 year warranty and contact apple or go to your local apple store!
to delete files there are 2 ways to do this.(1) first is with the on and facing you. on top the is the black menu switch. (2)hold down until it reads play music, and release (3) cycle either way until it reads delete.(4) cycle the switch until it reads del / push switch in (5) cycle to voice (6) push switch in to delete files. (cycle to exit and push switch again it should go to your music.
Second way is to plug it into a computer with plug and play.with the Trio MP3 on, the computer should open up a menu, chose open files (2) the screen should have music, voice and other files on the display. chose the voice file and click it open. use the mouse to delete files / or point and use the key board delete key to delete files. IF PLUG and Play does not open up goto MY Computer and openit up. drop down to the removeable disk and click open. you should be where you can delete the voice file. good luck and have fun.
When I plug my mp3 player
into the Usb port, the screen goes to the connected screen for a split
second. Then it goes back to the normal screen. The mps player will
continue to go back and forth betwwen the two not really connected or
playing untill I unplug the cord then its normal.
