How do I fix a black screen problem?

I have 2 Videonics Tm 3000 both with the same problem. They power up and do not forward input video and give a black screen on the monitor. From research on internet this appears to be a common failure. How is it fixed?

SOURCE: Monitor keeps blank even the power lLED is on green

I suspect the problem is with the monitor itself. I have had the same problem. I reported it to Dell and they sent me a new monitor within a few days the problem resurfaced again on the new monitor. They have since sent me a new monitor and the problem has disappeared. The Dell customer service people sounded rather cagy to me when I suggested that this was a problem endemic to this model. The replacement monitor that I have had a sticker on the box that read "refurbished". This is a rather new model of monitor to already be into selling "refurbished" models. If you are still under warranty I suggest you call them. And even if you aren't, call them anyway. I sense that they know about this problem.

you have problem wit the lamp just plug in another once you removed the back cover and if the lamp stays on the it is 100%. you do not need original lamp. Any 15" lcd lamp that fits will do the job. HA HA well done

No back-light,No picture, but has sounds. How can I fix it?

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Hook up to view dvd's to tv video cables with yellow white and red plug ins.

Hello, here is a sample for auxilary connection for the chdvd300: . Use the AV (Audio/Video) cable
provided to connect the DVD player to
your TV as shown in the diagram.
. Your TV must be equipped with AV
inputs like those pictured to the right in
order to connect this unit.
. If your TV does not have AV inputs, you
will need a RF Modulator to connect this
player to your TV's antenna/cable input.
RF Modulators are available at major
electronics retailers.

CH-DVD 300 Quick Setup Guide
. The goal is to see the DVD player's splash screen on your
TV. To do this, select the Video Input channel on your TV
that corresponds with the input the player is plugged into.
This procedure differs among TVs, but is normally done by
pressing the VIDEO IN or INPUT button on the TV's remote
control to select the Video Input.
. When the DVD player's splash screen appears on your TV,
you're ready to go!

PSP 3000, screen goes black when the directional

probably a loose connection and i myself would study it further and then take it apart because thats just what i do i re-soldier stuff thats broken and i enjoy it. but i am not advizing it because as you must know the psp holds power due to sleep mode and can hold sleep mode power for up to 6 weeks and due to this i am in no way stating that you should do this, but if you want to.... i mean ... an engineer would cost £200 just for that so u might aswell fix it or eBay it and then buy a preowned 1 have fun.

I just bought the dual headrest from walmart and can not get the sound to work the passenger side. can anyone help me with this?or possibly tell me how to get the sound through the stereo.

The monitor only headrest does not have audio handling circuitry in it. the wire harness for that side is the one with the red and black wire, and the two video inputs, not the harness with the red and black wire and the three RCA jacks. It will function on the wrong harness, but it is not the correct one.

The DVD headrest has two harnesses. One of them is for power and output, the other is for input only from another source. The harness with the red and black wire has the three RCA outputs... the video lead goes to the other headrest, and the audio can be fed to an aux input on a stereo or amplifier. The input harness is designed to be Video 2 input from either a gaming system (a Game Cube is a nice option), or another DVD or video source (hand held video device such as iPod or Smart Phone like a HTC Touch Pro 2).

To get sound out of the stereo, either run the audio output from the headrest to the aux input on your stereo, or cycle the FM transmit options using the FMTX button on the DVD player unit to a station you can tune to on your car's FM radio.

Black screen when trying to adjust settings

Double check to be sure the TV is on the proper input.

Can you still play a DVD? If DVDs still play, reset the system by unplugging the power cord for a minute. The menus should return.

If DVDs don't play either you may have accidentally changed a video setting. Fortunately you can access the video settings from series II and III systems with the buttons on top of the console. If would be best to call Bose tech support so they can walk you though accessing the video settings. 800-367-4008
