SOURCE: Mitsubishi VS-60805 Rear Projection won't operate in HD mode with Cable Box

Since this is an older first generation (1999) HD TV it may not be compatible with newer HDTV receivers because the standards back then were different - Make sure the HD cable box is plugged into the HD component inputs on the back of the TV (not the DVD inputs) and that the menu setting on the TV is set to DTV (not RGB) video. This TV will only accept 480i and 480p signals on the DVD input. Also the HDTV input will only accept 480i,480p and 1080i (it will not work with a 720p signal, make sure your cable box is not set to that mode)

Try code 038. If that doesn't work try 039.

SOURCE: mikomi flashing blue light tv will not work

This could be your power DC.

I had the same trouble when I set the tv on its start normal.
but after a few min. the screens falsh on off, on off.

I change the adapter and the problem is solved!
Check this with a other DC power adapter.

I hope this will work. But for me it was the power DC adapter.

SOURCE: Samsung 650 lcd 40" tv picture blacks out for a few seconds.

Dude, better check your cable and also your TV's power management settings. This might also happen due a issue with the HDMI output of the satellite box.

What's causing blue screen on Samsung 70" led TV?

the source or input device has not been set up in the proper mode. For example, if your cable box is linked to your TV using a coaxial cable, your TV needs to be set to a program channel input to receive a signal, not a TV/Video input.

My Samsung TV won't work with remotes and the red LED light keeps flashing

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

https://elektrotricks.blogspot.com/
Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your set, in its search box on the right column. View it on a desktop or in web View. Mobile view has no search box.

My Samsung LE32N7 does not come on. The blue light under the screen constantly flashes without the tv coming on.

Hi, maybe the TV controller board is blocked, you can reset it, by disconnecting power cable from outlet for about 5 minutes, if that doesn't work, possibly and internal board or component must be repaired of replaced, in such case it's better to contact an authorized Samsung service center or technician to check your TV.

I just picked up the Samsung HW C560S receiver. I'm trying to run a cable box as well as a blue ray player through it connected by HDMI. Blue Ray seems to work fine but can not get picture from cable box....

When you run the cable box and the blue ray player to your receiver you use two sets or cords yes? there for you need to run two sets of cords to your TV from the receiver. Have you done this? Both the DVD and Cable box will have different inputs to the TV. Turn the cable box on and cycle through the inputs on the TV. One should pop up for the DVD and a different one for the cable. Let me know if this works.

Samsung le32n had it for 16 months came down this morning blue light flashing on bottom of tv but no picture or sound. Tried swapping cables, sockets, leaving it off for a while nothing helps

Those Samsungs and most other HD units can fail within 6-18 months of purchase.. I would contact Samsung and go up the corporate ladder for help. Otherwise you may be looking at a repair bill that is as high as the cost of new unit.

Universal remote

Codes for Samsung (one of them should work on your RCA remote)

006,011,014,015,019,027,036,037,077

Programming Your Universal Remote.

The remote may already be set up to operate your brand of TV, VCR, or Cable Box. It is pre-programmed with following codes:
  • TV-000
  • VCR-000
  • Cable Box-000
  • AUX is programmed with VCR code 037
For brands that require programming, there are two ways to program: Using Code Lists or Code Search. Use Code Search if the code lists are not available or if the codes from the lists do not operate a device.

Programming a Device using Code Search:

  1. Manually turn ON your device (TV, VCR, Cable Box)
  2. Press and "HOLD" CODE SEARCH
  3. Press and release the device button you want to set up (TV, VCR, Cable Box) However, if you are using AUX for a device, press and release AUX first and then the device button for the type of device to be programmed (TV, VCR, or Cable). The selected device button will flash once.
  4. Release CODE SEARCH.
  5. Press OFF/ON repeatedly until the device turns off (you may have to press up to 100 times at a rate of once per second).
  6. Once the device turns off, press and release ENTER.
  7. With the device on, press any other button. If the device responds, no further programming is required. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 1-6.

Programming a device using the Code Lists:

  1. Find codes for each device and brand below.
  2. Press and "HOLD" CODE SEARCH.
  3. Press and release the TV, VCR or Cable button you want to set up. If programming AUX for a device, press and release AUX first and then the device to be programmed (TV, VCR or Cable). When the selected device button flashes proceed to the next step.
  4. Enter the three digit code from the TV, VCR or Cable Box code lists.

  5. Release CODE SEARCH.
  6. With the device on, press another button, for example CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 1-5 using another code number from the lists.
