I need to change to size of the print

I need to change the size of my print on my printer. It is too small. I can hardly read what comes out of the printer.. Is there a way to make the letters a little bit bigger? Can I change the size from my computer or from the printer intself. Please let me know.-----------------need to know-----------p.s I have a Brother printer MFC-440CN and a desk top Dell. The computer is 2 or 3 years old and the printer is not even a year old.

Re: I need to change to size of the print

You have to change the size within the computer software (word?). Use a 11 or 12 size and arial or times as a standard. The mfc prints the job as given by software (with settings given by user).

The printer prints out what it sees in your document. You need to resize the font in your document, which the printer will then see and print.

I have tried every thing that i could with out sucsess to enlarge the printer font size on my documents i can't hardly read them thay are so small.

If you are trying to print emails directly, you must change font size in Internet Explorer options for font size which controls email print size in Outlook Express. You may copy to a Word doc to control fonts there.

Printed font size too small

Most web browsers have an option to change the text size on the page you are viewing. In IE8 it is accessible through the Page menu, Text Size. It defaults to Medium, and there are 2 smaller sizes and 2 larger sizes available.
