Jenn-Air Electric Oven - F-1 Code

Help! Our oven keeps beeping at us and giving us an "F-1" message. We're about ready to shoot it, or run away from home.

Went to an aapliance dealer. They told me that the f1 code was the clock mudule. Paid $135 for part and replaced it. Worked for about two weeks and then started to beep again. Still searching.

Jenn-Air W131W that shows a code F-1. This happens more often that now but we have experienced times where it didn't happen. Must turn off at the breaker to get it to stop. The second problem is that the tempature is approximatly 100+ degrees lower then indicated.

What parts are needed for corrections?

I have owned a similar Jenn Air oven since 1993 - every 1-2 yrs our front panel module goes. The symptoms are an F1 code in the display and a very annoying constant "beep" (which always seems to occur in teh middle of the night). I have written and spoken to Jenn Air about this problem (it is the most unreliable appliance we've ever owned) and they ignore the possibility of it being a design fault. This code is mis-reading a fault condition which causes the alarm. I'm looking for ways to disconnet the speaker - any clues?

Same F-1 beeping problem - I have to shut the circuit breaker off. Also

take forever to cook anything - I think the oven temp is much lower than

    the readout states.

i so love google.... thank you for being there... now my headache will hopefully go away after we reset the circuit breakers!

You can disconnect the beeper so its not so annoying. turn oven off at breaker first. pull out oven a little so you can get at the top 2 screws on each side. The speaker is between the boards on the display module.
look for a red wire connected to a gold disc like speaker. remove this wire and you won't hear the beeping anymore.

Jenn Air oven keeps beeping F2 and the upper oven broiler won't shut off. We do not have a manual. Please help!!! (925) 672-1279

Sounds like a welded relay on the control board. You can replace the board or have the board repaired for much less expense.

F2 code

F-2 error for jenn-air means the oven is to hot, it could be the oven temperature sensor is faulty, or the relay board.

Beeping and F7 when cleaning

F7 stuck keypad
Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on.
Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

Jenn-Air Wall Oven Model #WW30430P F5 Fault Code

I have the exact same problem with an F5 fault code. I also have a new clock assembly. said "Jenn Air fault code F5 = Hardware and watchdog circuits disagree / Replace clock assembly (also called the ERC)

Jenn Air Fault code for newer models F5 = Power to element relays disabled in cook mode
1. Intermittent oven temperature sensor or wire harness or,
2. Intermittent contact on power relay board"
This doesn't help since it is too technical. What should I do next?

Jenn Air double oven keeps beeping

The problem is with the faulty relay board or wire harness harness.
There are no home remedies for this problem. The only solution is to get it repaired.
