Question about Dell 922 All-In-One InkJet Printer

DELL 922 all in one photop printer HELP

All of a sudden, I lost my all in one center for the printer- I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times to no avail. I seach the intall disc itself and it says nothing about the all in one center even being on the set up disc- ommg what can I do? I have a Dell Laser printer shared to this computer as well that is working fine.

    Yes i have a similar problem. I have lost my all in one centre software and cannot use my scanner. Ive also lost my disc.

    had to redo my operating system on my computer and can't find my disc to reinstall my all-in-one-printer,what do I need to do to resolve this problem?

I recently got a new Dell computer and kept my Dell AIO 922 printer, but now the icon is lost, I cannot scan. However, I can print, but that is about it.

Do you still have the Dell AIO 922 Drivers and Utilities CD? If so, you can reinstall it on your new Dell PC with the Drivers and Utilities CD. Although you are able to see this printer in your list, the other components are missing such as the scan and fax options. If you have already reinstalled it using the CD, you should see the All In One Center under the Start Menu/ All Programs/Dell Printers/Dell AIO Printer 922 and the All In One Center should be showing there. You can right click on the All in One Center and select "send to" and choose desktop to create a shortcut or icon on your desktop. Your options for scanning and faxing should be showing here. Hope that helps!

Dell 922 AIO NT 4.0 driver is blocked

Download the printer driver from dell web site and try to reinstall. Before reinstall the printer driver you need to uninstall the previous printer driver from control panel->program feature->dell printer

I had t his issue i uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it. If you have dont have the cd go to and download the drivers for it

Try this. Install the Dell printer software again,Link below, then go to the add printer through the control panel. Highlight the Dell. On the left side it says "'Delete printer?" Click on it. You may want to even try this first before reinstalling.

Dell 922 printer all in one

I have a Dell 942, and I also ran into problems scanning. Basically, the Dell "All In One Center" refused to open, and when the printer generates a scan, it tries to send it to that application. What worked for me was uninstalling Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and 8. Once I was back to IE6, my Dell printer functioned normally. Upgrading to IE7 immediately "broke" it again.
I discovered this after running a repair installation of Windows (a recommended action any time you start experiencing weird problems). I did not have to format my hard drive or lose any data, although some applications had to be reinstalled or re-patched afterward. But the repair install took me back to IE6, and magically, my printer suddenly worked again! When I went to the Microsoft Update site and upgraded to IE7, poof! Dell AIO Center would no longer open, and I couldn't scan.

Well download the driver for the printer and when you run the setup it gives and option to uninstall the previous installations,So u can try it that way.
