So you're saying that you already tried connecting the monitor to a different CPU and still have the same problem?? if that's what you have done this can eb a problem with the cable fo the monitor or some internal parts of the monitor is already bad that may needs replacemnet already..

More likely to be metric M4 screws, 1/2" will more likely to be long enough.

u check the cable from ur lcd to pc, plug again if not work ur lcd have problem

I have a Acer moniter too. Seems like you have a loose VGA cable or not enough power going into the video card

i had this happen to me and it was the video driver that went out, if you have or r using the video slot or monitor slot already on the motherboard you can get a video card to put in a slot on the mother board and it should solve the problem....hope it helps ....shia

This is a common problem with this monitor but I have a fix. Sounds simple but try it it works. Turn your monitor off, then turn it off at the wall, turn your monitor back on to drain any stored power, now turn it back on at the wall and fire the pc up and see how you go.
