Hi,
We are having a problem with our Ricoh MP5500 machine. About half the time, when we scan a document (multi-page PDF), it comes through as a bunch of gobbledy-gook characters -- NOT a PDF file! We have tried changing the scan settings (text/photo versus text, etc.), but nothing seems to work. It doesn't do it all the time, but happens randomly, and more and more often. We have had the machine for 2 years -- it has only started doing this in the past month.
The Troubleshooting manual mentions nothing about this.... We are not getting any kind of error message.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
Rose.
