Question about HP (5064-6630) Motherboard
It happenned just like that,
the last time I was booting the computer,
the video output was displayed on the monitor.
Then I shutdown the computer and reboot, and
I get no more otput on the monitor. It just display a message
in a BLUE BOX saying: "Please check video cable connection".
I tested with an other monitor...same thing exept the message
displayed on the monitor was: "No Signal"
any ideas of what theproblem might be ??
If it is a problem with the onboard video card, what can I do
to have it replace ?? do I change the motherboard or can I
pluggin a PCI or AGP video card ? If I do so, any on board settings I have to change ?
I dont have the motherboard manual !!!!
thanks for your time and help :-)
Try either a pci or AGP card. On most boards, it will recognize the card without changing anything on the board. Does the hard drive and other components power up? Just the video not working ? If so it is probably the chip on the video, if not it could be a board failure.

if you have changed the monitor and the same no signal have you noticed a beep sound? or can you see the green and red light in front of cpu? if both of this doesn't light it's power supply and if there are led lights (green&red) lighting but there is a continous beep sound the problem is the on board video card. if a sound short beep, beep the problem is your memory card.
