What was wrong to start with that made you replace the cylinders? There is a back story that will probably tell the tale. It could possibly be a locked slave cylinder - did it work in-out before installing? If not, its a pressure plate and/or throwout bearing bound up.

Does the handwheel turn eazy or is it stiff. If it is stiff you need to take the top and bottom off and lubricate all moving parts. may take a bit of turning the handwheel and lubicating(it may tire you out). If the handwheel is not stiff I would check to see iff the motor is spining at all. If motor is not spining may be a bad footcontrol. If it is spining try cleaning the belt pullys and tighting the belt.

on top of the struts under the bonnet is a plastic cover with a nut underneath ,put some engine oil around this nut so it soaks through to the bearinig ,might or might not work dependiing on the fault but its a favourite trick of mine that often works

Yes , you need the HD tuner module that connects thru a din cord in the back of the radio. When a device says it is "HD ready" that means that it does not have it, but it can be connected and then used. Always look for that little tell-tale of being "ready". That is the give-away as to if it has it now, or it is only ready for it, meaning that it is compatible.
