Embedded processor memory error. The genset processor runs a periodic sum of all instruction memory space and compares it to a known value "check sum". Your unit has failed this test which means processor instruction space is potentially corrupted. This is a fatal error and it will not allow the genset to run until it is corrected. Likely this will require replacing the control board.

Make sure that the throttle linkage is all there and not damaged/misadjusted, then get a manometer and check your inlet gas pressure. Gas pressure should be 8 inches of water column and stay there running or not.

Did you remember to set the overspeed shutdown threshold on the control board?

Hi Scott,
Since the generator starts but there is no power to the control board, there is an electrical problem inside the generator.
First check the circuit breaker at the back of your generator. If the breaker is on, then your generator is in serious trouble.
Call a repairman, but also keep in mind you may need a new generator.
Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,
Handie Andie

The flywheel side or the PTO side? In either case you need to disassemble the unit to get at the end and then use a hook to pull the seal out.
