My samsung star s5233W's touch screen not to access the menu . I keep pressing the area where Menu, Phonebook and keypad are (area below) but It doesn't respond. it seems that the screen's calibration is...

You may need to run LCD test press *#0*# on the keypard. Once you have done it go to touch panel sensitivity run the test , if your handest doesnt not have a hardware issue it would work fine , if it does you may need to contact Samsung service cnetre to reset the firmware on your handset

How to fix screen calibration on the phone?

Go to Menu>Settings>Phone>Calibration

Note: it doesn't always calibrate on the first touch on each point. It might take you many tries to get it to move to the next point.

It is best to do this operation with a Q-tip, which resembles a finger to the Eternity's software more than a sharp point, but is also more accurate than a finger.

To test the calibration, dial *#0*# and press "9"

If this did not fix your problem, or you think you have a hardware issue

Hi, Have a Kyocera KM4050 copier/scanner/printer with a touch screen. The touch screen is out of alignment (i.e. where you point does not align with what is sensed by the touch screen) and needs...

First you have to get into the maintenance mode. It is important once in there you don't make any changes other than the one I tell you or you could damage the machine.

To get into maintenance mode do the following:

Press the STATUS KEY

With the numeric key pad key in 10871087 (if done correctly the display will change and say ENTER MAINTENANCE ITEM)

Enter 201 with the numeric key pad (follow the steps below):

1. Press the start key.

2. Select the [INITIALIZE].

3. Press the start key.

4. Press the center of the + keys. Be sure to press three + keys displayed in order. The touch panel is adjusted automatically.

5. Press the indicated three + keys, and then check the display.

6. Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Now to exit maintenance mode key in 001 with the numeric key pad

Press the Start Key ( you should be back to the status screen, press copy key to go back to the copy mode)

Remember do not go to any other maintenance mode or make any other changes.

Oven does not work and the elements are good no f codes and the probe was change?

Hello there:

An oven thermostat is a switch that opens and closes in response to the temperature it senses. It is typically found in the control panel, where a liquid-filled temperature-sensing bulb senses and maintains the internal oven temperature by cycling heat on and off.

  1. Before repairs or testing can begin you must disconnect the electricity at the fuse panel, at the circuit breaker panel, or by pulling the plug. Make sure the power is off before proceeding. A jolt from 220 volts can be fatal, use caution!

  2. Access the oven thermostat, which is located in different places depending on the make and model:
    1. On freestanding ranges, access the thermostat by removing the screws that hold the back panel in place at both ends.
    2. On models with front-loading controls, remove the panel and tilt it for access. Be careful not to let the wires disconnect from their components.
    3. Some built-in models have a removable backsplash. Lift the backsplash, rest it on the cook top and remove the screws from the backsplash, which holds the rear panel.
    4. On wall ovens or eye-level ranges, access the control panel by opening the door and removing the screws that secure it. The screws may be under the exhaust hood or below the control panel. If the control panel is hinged, simply tilt it towards you.
    5. On some models both the rear and front control panels must be removed. The screws may be found on the trim and occasionally the trim must be removed.

  3. When testing the thermostat switch contacts for continuity, refer to the wiring diagram and remove only those wires being tested - and only one pair at a time. Test switch contact terminals as per your wiring diagram. If the switch lacks continuity at any of the contact terminal points then the entire thermostat switch needs to be replaced.

    Adjusting the thermostat:

  4. Test the oven temperature by placing the tester in the oven's center and leaving it for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Record the minimum and maximum temperatures of three cycles, then add those figures together, divide the result by six and you have the oven's average temperature.

  5. If the average temperature is more than 25 degrees off, try calibrating the thermostat by following your appliance manual instructions for thermostat calibration.

  6. Normally, thermostats are calibrated by pulling the oven's thermostat knob off, turning the knob over and adjusting the calibration ring on the back. If your oven doesn't have a calibration ring you may need to replace the thermostat.

  7. To remove the thermostat:
    1. Disconnect the capillary tube and push it through the back oven wall, being careful not to break the flammable capillary tube wire.
    2. Remove the screws that secure the thermostat to the control panel and gently pull the thermostat out, leaving the wires in place.
  8. To install a new thermostat, reverse the disassembly procedures (Step 7 above), transferring the wires individually from the old unit to the new.

Do you have the flashing software like Jaf box? if so go ahead, but if not, there's no possibility to do it. Please note that, without proper training and practices, you can't do it. You'll end up destroying the handset. The software with the hardware for flashing mobile will cost you more than the price of your handset. I would suggest you to get it done from the service center or from any mobile repairing shop.
Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

HDP600 print ribbon will not align properly. Using the diagnostics section, the color ribbon, ymckk, will not align to its correct starting point so that an accurate id card can be produced. The data is...

If card image is spread out into the yellow panel and the next magenta panel ...and so on skiping panel of the ribbon, then is defenitlly a sensor mis calibration problem. Check if you working in a place where to much natural light is present. The printer needs to detect the diffrent colors of the ribbon panels to print without skkiping them. re-calibrate the sensor. also as to "see or sense" the timing white marks on the ribbon that separates each panel.

I hope i help

Well.. if you have windows xp.. then you can calibrate your controller fairly easily.

Go here:

Control panel:Printers and Other Hardware:Game Controllers:(your controller should be in the list):Advanced:Calibrate

This should solve your problem ;)
