Go into your BIOS and change the date there and the save changes and exit. Hopefully on the reboot when you get into windows the dtae will read prroperly If it does then turn off the laptop and then turn it back on and see if the date is still reading properly. If it does then you know it was a BIOS issue.
If the date still doesn't read properly then you know that the BIOS battery is weak and not holding memory and so the battery would need to be replaced.
