Question about Dell Latitude C610 Notebook
I tried to put an additional stick of 256 mb memory into my dell c610 laptop but it won't reconize it . do I have to change the Bio's or do I need 2 of the same name brand sticks of memory ? PLEASE help I would like to upgrade my laptop to a 512 until I can afford a better laptop . Dove143@frontiernet.net Thank you
Update your bios from the dell website searching your computer "update bios c610".
Newer memory has that problem, I am having it too with a c600 and inspiron 2500 and was told to update the bios by installing the download while the system is still working on the old ram, then re-boot with new ram.
