SOURCE: remote does not work when plasma tv is on

It is a very strange case that you have.
I think that bose is correct, there is definetly an electromagnetic interference with the system, but the strabge part is that panasonic plasma tvs are not supposed to emit such EMI and they should be shielded.
one advice is that to verify this try putting on the tv, and bring a portable radio close to it and see is there is a change in the sound, if there is one, then definetly your tv is emitting EM fields. this could be due to a factory defect in the tv, have it checked by the retailer where you got your tv.
a second solution is to place the receiver of the bose system further away from the tv and try using both of them.

SOURCE: panasonic viera tv won't turn on. Power light

hello, you have a either your su, sd or sc boards fualty and it is a driver sos1 thats what the manual reads the best thing to do if your not electronically inclined or able to fix it is to get a service manual and make sure it is for your specific model and size you will find what the 7 blink codes mean, on my side i have a 42 in pana the service manual for this set and your is similar so since it is not the same model i cant tell you exactly what the truoble is but your best bet is to find a service manual find the 7 blink fualt then without getting ripped off you will know what the service man needs to do if you dont know or cant replace the parts yourself that is besides having to download firmware from your computer to a sd card and update your set but you need to solve the blinking code first it may solve the entire issue. the tv should come on when you resolve the blink codes or replace the fualty board or boards

SOURCE: Panasonic plasma 50PZ85 power led blink 10 times

Either a bad power supply or a bad processor board.
A Good Service Shop should know what the 10 blinks are indicating.
May be a repair cost between $200 and 400 dollars.
Be prepared -

Hello, lighting hit and my plasma Panasonic tc-42px24 will not turn on. completly dead. was told it maight be supply board??? thanks

Power surges wreck havoc with power supplies since they are first in line and bear the brunt of the rushing power. Try replacing the power supply board on the cheap by getting a used one on ebay to minimize the expenditure in case that is not it. Always a possibility,

WON TURN ON

For the first step, try using the button on the TV itself.
Secondly, check if the power cord is snug, and not burnt. Sometimes after a blackout, there would be a power surge, and that might burn your plug.

If both doesn't work, the fuse in your TV may be blown, or the Power Supply may also be burnt too. If this happens, you're going to have to hire an expert to help replace the broken parts.

Note that in some TV models, the fuse can be replaced by users. If this is your case, try checking the fuse to see if it's blown or not.

Why won't my Panasonic 42 TCP42S30 42 Plasma TV turn on.

Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry.
If problem persists, I suggest it is better to refer it to a qualified service
technician, since the back cover has to be opened for investigation/rectification.

I have a 1 1/2 year old Panasonic TC-P42U1 plasma tv. While watching a show, it suddenly shut off and won't come back on. What do you think caused this and how can i fix it? Thanks.

Try unplugging it completely for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Plug it back in. If it still won't come on, it's likely taken a power surge and popped a fuse or power supply, which means a trip to the service center.
