Problem for Motorola RAZR V3

Invalid battery

phone powers up but says invalid battery in the display. Battery is fine (from a working RAZR) Is there any way to master reset the SW in this mode? Other suggestions?

Even though the batteries look the same and will fit does not mean they are compatible. I just saw this again at my cell shop today. My razor uses a BR 50. This guys razor needed a BK-70. A BR-50 my partner put in fit, but gave the same message. Your eyes do not deceive you. Make sure the battery model is the same and you are in business. Motorolla batteries have nice big model numbers. I don't have to put my specs on to read it! Happy charging :)
