Question about JVC Audio Players & Recorders

Open Question

My JVC TV (LT-55n776A) keeps rebooting, it seems like the software is corrupt. It doesn't even get to the home page. I tried very resets, no joy.

Any firmware or software that I can reload via USB stick?

SOURCE: can't connect to usb port

Hi all! I had the exact same problem - the remote recognized the USB connection but my computer (MacBook with Leopard) / Logitech software did not.  I took the advice of  bfuzcsvxvgk  and it worked like a charm.  I wasn't sure what the "Home" folder that he or she referred was, so instead I entered "Logitech" into the Spotlight finder and the Logitech folder came up.  There was only one file (usblancognac.cmd) in the folder and I deleted it. After that I reopened the Harmony Remote software and it opened! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!  Hope this helps if you are having problems!

Try this

1. Get camera phone
2. set camera phone to to take picture
3. point remote at camera and look at the camera display
4. press buttons on the remote, you should a light from the Remotes IR.
5a. If NO light is seen, your remote is broken. you can try replacing the batteries to double check
5b. if Yes, light is seen. Your remote is working and you may have a problem with the TV.

As a double check, get a remote you know is working and try the same thing to verify that you are checking the remotes correctly.

warranty requirements , on hidden defects.
no defects are expected within 4 years for just domestic use.
call your dealer , write to the importer, about the fault its not a JVC point to make products for only 2 years lifetime.

37" JVC LCD Stuck at logo

Just do a hard reset to this set and check. It seems that, the software has been corrupted. In most cases, a hard reset should make it right. Unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 10 minutes or so. This must make it a hard reset. If this do not help you, a software update might be necessary. If you wish to get more details, check this link. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up older posts there, either by its left side bar, or see it in Timslide option.

JVC TV (LT-32E478) Stuck (loops) in standby mode...? Buttons on TV have no effect... Will not turn off?

Do you mean the JVC Logo keeps appearing?

If so, call JVC for the software update. I believe it may even be posted on their site. You can check in the TV menu to verify. You should have F108 or higher.

If the update doesnt apply, you need a Digital PWB for the TV because it is defective.

No video input -- all ports -- for JVC LT-37X688

JVC may allow warranty exception or some accomodation for 15 days out. You have 2 seperate issues

1. White lines spreading is probably a video process problem. I think this TV has 3 Boards inside. Middle one is most likely suspect followed by the one on the Right

2. HDMI input not working is because they were turned OFF. JVC TV's have a sensor that will shut off the HDMI if the TV's back cover is removed. This must be reset in the Service Menu.

After power outage, TV screen is blank

It sounds funny but, unplug the set for 30 seconds to allow the TV to reset then see if the problem still is there.
