Sharp AQUOS LC-70LE733U

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

I have a Sharp LC-52SB55u LCD Tv and it will not power up. The green power light is flashing on the front of the tv. What do I do?

It can be that it detects shorted circuits so it goes into shutdown, or ity may have bad power supply due to bad caps, oe bad main board. it will require in-depth troubleshooting to narrow down the problem.

My tv turns on somestimes. Today when I turn it on

The 5vdc power supply is working but not the rest of the set.
You need to check 24vdc power supply section and also the backlight inverter circuits.
Do you still get sound?

Sharp 32" aquos LCD tv, will not power up with remote or switch on set, has power (120v) to end of cord where plugs into back of tv

This is usually some sort of power supply shut down problem the TV has detected a major fault, and has shut down the power supply to avoid a fire or explosion.. you need to get this unit serviced by a reputable repairer also always ask for a 'Quote: so you know weather to repair or replace.

It is always irritating when a TV stops working. Most likely it is a board failure. The service tech should be able to service this by swapping out the failed board(s).
