I am using Simplicity model 237. I have the same problem, the bobbin thread is too loose and it bunches up under the garment, i did everything as what the manual says. I adjusted the Thread tension from 0 to 9 but it comes out the same.

It is the dial to the right of the take up arm on top. If you go all the way to 10 and nothing happens then you'll need to take it to your nearest technician or Bernina dealership. Also its possible you may have put your bobbin in the bobbincase the wrong way. After putting the bobbin in the case and pulling the thread the bobbin should turn clockwise.
Good luck.

I have a Brother VX-1120. I'm not sure if I'm putting the bobbin back in the case correctly because the bottom stich is loose and bunches on the bottom side of the fabric. The thread breaks also.

My thread bunches up on my material

On top of the fabric? The problem is either the upper tension is too tight and/or the bobbin tension is too loose.

Under the fabric (thread nesting)? The upper tension could be too loose and/or the bobbin tension is too tight. Also could mean the upper thread is not seated properly in the upper tension disk or it is threaded incorrectly. Remove the thread. RAISE the presser foot. Then rethread from the beginning--verify the thread pathway is correct.

Cotton is loose/looping under material?

Sounds like bird nesting.
The #1 thing is to install a brand new needle (old, worn, nicked, or bent needles can create a lot of havoc).

Remove all the thread from the machine. RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning verifying that it is threaded correctly. Make sure the bobbin is loaded and threaded in the bobbin case properly.

When i sew the bobbin thread bunches up. what to do?

remove the thread and bobbin.
take out your manual and follow the exact instructions for threading and inserting bobbin.

If this does not help check the tension on the top(the number should be about mid way).
If it is too low it will bunch up on the bottom.

Thread is bunching up unside of the material does not catch bobbin thread

This sounds like the tension is not set properly for what you are sewing.
