Remote Control needed for a SENS 19'' LCD HDTV S1901DVD

I purchased the above listed televison last year. Since then I have misplaced the remote control and owners manual. I need to replace these items. I have attempted to contact Circuit City (original place of purchase) however they could offer no assistance. I have also searched the web for the SENS website, but found nothing. I recently purhased a Philips Universal remote control, but the SENS code(s) were not listed. I have tried to use the ''Code Search'' function, but was unsuccessful. Please help!

Can't find a code to program your universal remote to control your Polaroid HDTV? Can't find a listing for Polaroid in your remote control code list?

Many manufacturers recycle remote control codes, so often the best solution is to use the code search function of your universal remote.

Here are some remote control codes that have worked to control Polaroid HDTVs:

  1. My 19" w/DVD uses the following Mitsubishi code: 10178
  2. Dish Network remotes: 627, 659, or 688
  3. DirecTV RC64 remote control revealed a code of 10835. This means that 10835, 0835, 835 or some variant many work with many programmable remote controls. On my DirecTV DVR system, this was indicated as a Moxell and/or Motorola TV code.
  4. Use the mitsubshi tv codes they worked for me.
  5. Try Element codes if they are listed in your remote code list.

TV says no signal
check antenna/aerial installatin. ensure it is set for digital reception. If you get no signal try resetting to factory default then setup from scratch....sounds like a settings rather than a component fault

Want to change the dvd on a 22inch sens
If you are talking about replacing the DVD unit in a combo set---it will if available only be sold as a complete unit----if the set has input jacks it would be cheaper and quicker to add an external player that is not part of the set to the set.

On Off Code for Sens 22" HDTV/DVD Combo unit
I just purchased the 19' SENS LCD TV + DVD and have DirectTV and was able to get the tv to work with the remote using Samsung as the manufacturer and 10178 for the code.
