after the normal delay period, my heater ignites as normal, but after anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds the flame shuts down. Could this be a bad flame sensor rod?
flame sensor rod is probably not bad but just has a soot build up on it. take some steel wool or I use a soft brass brush and make the rod shine. DO NOT USE ANYTHING COARSE, if you scratch the rod it will rust, then it is bad

I have a Laars LX400 heater. Yesterday the heater would not start - Hi Lim SW error. I replaced both of the limit switches. Now when I start the heater, there is no sound for a minute or so and then I get "Air Flo SW" error.
