one (if the above power reset fails)
is remove the large battery pack first.
they short out and overload the VRMs and charging chips inside
so we remove, it and run on Pure AC power pack power. to the WALL.
does it run now, if yes you learned that this battery is the all time
first device to fail in ANY laptops.
first. and always.
batteries. they die or worse SHORT out.
G6 is not a full model
your service tag shows full model.
not posting the full model invites wrong answers.
see this page and why there are so many G6s
we cant guess them.

dash 1000 to dash 2300
your PC can be 8 years old today.
the big battery never lasts 8 years old ,none do
some fail in 1year flat (ask why? They CAN)
the coin cell is due next 7 years is EOL ,says pink bunny and mr, copper top both.
then the power pack is next.
those caps/ lock key brinks are a code.
if you look at it you set it is not random it is in fact a POST error blink code, and the code tells you (crudely) what is wrong.
my guess (wild) is code is power failure.....see above.

Hello!
That beeps indicated that there is a problem in the video Graphics adapter and in the memory.
try remove and clean the memory and then fix it back, im sure that would resolve your problems. however if this not solve then your should replace the memory.
If affraid to do so, then maybe let the repairman do it for you.

Try this quick fix first. Remove the battery, unplug the ac adapter and hold in the power button, plug the ac adapter back in and turn on.

I had the same problem with my hp pavilion dv4 1430 and to fix it I just took out the battery and unplugged it from the power adapter and pushed the power button and waited for a few minutes I put it all back together and started it up and the screen turns right back on.

When HP laptops don't boot but blink the scroll and caps lock lights it usually means there is a problem with the motherboard or RAM. The ram can usually be removed from the bottom of the laptop with relative ease. Before removing the RAM or doing any work on the laptop please make sure that it is unplugged and the battery has been removed. Locate the door pictured below and unscrew and remove it. The ram is held in by two prongs putting pressure on the chip from either side. Push the prongs out and the ram should slant forward, out of the machine. Carefully remove the RAM and clean the connectors gently with a pencil eraser. Carefully put them back in and back between the pins. Place the door back on and screw it back in place. Try rebooting the laptop. If you don't feel comfortable doing this or if the issue is one with the motherboard, and your laptop is still under warranty you may want to call HP. If it is under warranty HP will most likely repair your machine free of charge.

Hi Dave Smith, things to try
Hold power button in for 30 seconds to force a shutdown
Then try turning back on with power button
if no help take battery out of laptop and power cord . then re insert try again to turn on
Could be a hard drive failure
Could be an update if windows - that failed
try holding down f11 while booting up
then repair option
or recover from previous recovery point
