Tv won't turn on at all

no remote to check whether that works or not but when i press the power button on the Panasonic CT 36hx42f nothing happens. NOTHING HAPPENS. no lights, no sounds, no nothing. help?

- the tv does not turn on with the front power key. i have unplugged it and plugged it back into the same and different outlets. nothing happens. no noises, no lights, no nothing. i'm wondering if i can fix this myself? i'm hoping i can get by on the cheap. i have zero electrical appliance fixing experience. thanksSolution #1

no remote but tv was working with front power key? unplug from ac outlet and plug back and listen for any type of indication (noise or chirp) that something energizes inside if theres nothing then suspect a power supply problem, main fuse blown, shorted low volt rectifiers other components could be at fault.

- with no electrical experience i would not recommend trying to work on it but to check the really obvious like checking for blown fuses but there is nothing you can do from the outside of the tv. get it to some one with basic electronic knowhow. sorry and good luck!Yes
