Flashing lights (by 2 users)

I get six beeps when i turn on the typewriter and the 1 and 2 line space on right side are flashing. I changed the batteries already and i checked the connections? Help

Working one day - the next day just beeping and 1 & 2 lights are flashing.

GuruYou have a keyboard problem. The rt. connector has 7 contacts bussed together, wrap a piece of foil over that portion of the connector and plug it back in. BE SURE TO COVER ONLY THE 7 BUSSED CONNECTORS!
