When you pressed the reset, if it cleared the time and date that button is working. If that did not clear the error it is a hardware fault, meaning that a circuit has failed and parts will have to be replaced.
A local camera store might be able to find the problem but you will have to carefully weigh whether these older camera is worth the cost of repair.

There is lock located on the bottom of the scanner on the left side. Make sure the knob is in the unlock position. If it is, then there is plan B I can tell you about.

I had the same problem and decided to try a long shot, I opened the front cover and saw there is a sensor there black plastic which tips as the paper passes. I added a very small blob of bluetack onto the counter balance, printer now working.
