Have replaced Outlet Thermistor, inlet thermistor/high limit thermostat, Machine Control Electronics & Power cube. Airflow fine. thermistor resistances within specified ranges. I'm baffled! Any suggestions?

Bob, I did not lie, I just checked the heating element orginally with an Olm meter while the element was still installed in the dryer. After more reading on the internet and testing I decide to remove the heating element and noticed it had the short.

Remove 1 wire from the element . Your 220 V comes from ...110 motor , 110 control board . Check which wire is not getting 110 V , trace it and see which it comes from . That will tell you which one is defective .

Check thermistor with ohm meter, make sure you unplug unit first, make sure wires are removed from thermistor or you will read ohms thru the wiring. If thermistor checks ok, the you have a relay board problem. replace power board.
