Monitor wont work properly

It sounds like the power supply in the computer is not putting out the correct amount of juice through the motherboard, and into the monitor. either that or if you have the monitor connected to a seperate video card, than the card could by no good. Try a different monitor if you can, and see what happens. If the other monitor works good, than it is the monitor its self.
