I am using an Acer Aspire 5002WLMi running Windows XP. How do I turn GridVista on and off? Thank you.

Glad to HELP YOU!

Here it is what you have to do:
# "to turn off GridVista" just pull up the TASKBAR (where the clock is);
# look for the Gridvista icon (looks like a monitor with white dividing lines across it) and once you have identified it move your mouse over the icon;
# click the right button and select EXIT

It's DONE!

My best regards!

Both screens wont work

No mention of how much ram installed ???

Are you using ACER GRIDVISTA
This program handles the multi screen out put

or

Standard Screen Properties,,,,,,,

Try this

DESKTOP>Right click properties
DISPLAY PROPERTIES>Settings

With both screens connected.
There should be two windows displayed ,
a highlighted white one and a grey one

Click IDENTIFY.

ONE SCREEN-
Should display a number 1 on the screen it has attached.
TWO SCREEN
Should display a number 2 on the external screen.

Once you get IDENTIFY to work then set resolution sizes of both individual screen.Apply and ok to save settings

If using GRIDVISTA then set the setting for the output functions and save theme as a theme BOTH or LAPTOP AND EXTERNAL MONITOR and its accessible from the desktop right click.

Good luck I have a couple of these I use for my Media Centre wirelessly networked thru the house.Great machines.
