Screen display is too dim
If this is a Toshiba, go into the BIOS when booting the laptop and see if you can adjust it there. You may also want to check the Power settings in the Control Panel. If that doesn't work, you need to take it to a warranty repair shop and they will need to update a code that only they have access to. This is usually free.
