Any black lines will almost smear across the screen, just to the right. Weird thing about this is that this is the second monitor (exactly the same) and is giving me the same problem. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

The graphics part of the laptop is going out. Recommend just replacing the laptop, it would be cheaper.

SOURCE: two vertical lines across screen

This is a common problem when LCDs are subjected to strong shock. Your internal circuits are damaged The panel itself may not be cracked but there is internal damage. I know of no cure or repair possible other than to replace the panel assembly.

SOURCE: Monitor goes blurry, colours/pixels start shaking across screen

Do you have your screen saver enabled, i so turn it off and se if it still does it. Secondly boot your pc in safe mode(pressing F8) on boot up and select start windows in safe mode. See if the monitor still does it, if so a monitor fault or loose/faulty vga lead. If it is ok then your graphics driver may be corrupt and need re installing.

SOURCE: colour lines across the page

Hey Paul, Can you post a scan of the printed paper? It may help diagnose your problem. The most common cause of lines accross the page is either the PhotoConductor Unit or the 2ND BTR Assy.

SOURCE: Blue Line on

Your problem is simple. The problem is your pannel. You need a new one. If it is under warranty, have it fixed. If not buy a new tv.

SOURCE: Vertical colour lines on whole screen

The problem is that the panel has failed. Apparently this is a common problem with LCD TV's between 18 mths and 3 yrs old. If it survives over 3 yrs it is likely to last for a few years longer. The cost of replacing the panel is more than a replacement TV!
