Hello sir; I assume your printer is ink jet printer, if have line on the page,then you need to clean print head and ink cell.
turn on he power, open the cover let cartridge carrier move to center then UNPLUG the power cord, now you move carrier freely,clean up print head and ink cell with clear water and Q-tip.
