I dont have disk for my canon pixma ip1600 printer. my compu cant seam to detect it. does anyone know where i can go to get a free download for this?

- after i select make/canon and look for the model, its not listed.(pixma ip1600).
system is windows XP

What Operating system?
You will need to go to Canon for a Vista Driver.
However which ever system you have try this.
Go to Start/Printers and Faxes
When the Window opens select 'Add a printer'
The PC will do a plug n play search and tell you it cannot
Click next
Window asks have disk? or select from list.
Take select from list.
Select the Make - Canon
Scroll down to model
Click OK
Job Done.
For experiment try a model near by i.e Canon Pixima [1500 or similar]
2. Go to Canon Website support/drivers/ and down load driver from there.
