washing machine when on cold water cycle comes out very slow put on warm comes out very hot

- checked all hoses & filter screens, the problem was a faulty soleniod in the water inlet valve, replaced water inlet valve and machine is work fine for 20 years old.

remove the cold water hose from the back of the washer. look inside the area where you unscrewed the hose from. there is a screen in there. if its clogged with sediment remove screen and clean. if that doesnt fix it or if theres no sediment youll have to replace the valve to fix the problem
