Question about Insignia NS- 27" TV27 TV
Somehow in handling the remote control I pushed a button or combination of buttons and now have a blue screen with a lock symbol in red in the top left hand corner. I've tried turning the tv off, and unplugging it, as well as a combination of buttons on the remote, but it still is there.
What do I need to do to remove the lock?
The 32" Insignia will require you to push the "display" button on the factory remote successively up to 10 times, simply holding it down WILL NOT unlock this model.

The exact same thing JUST happened to us, my daughter unknowingly pushed a button, or a combo of buttons on the remote, we got the blue screen with the lock in the left hand corner, tried ALL of the above (we have the same tv, insigna, only 2 yrs old), I typed the problem in on the net and got the solution, pressing the display button worked!!! Thank U who ever knew this!!!

Tips for a great answer:
•Stand within operating range of the
Insignia TV, then aim the remote at the TV's receiver and press the
"Lock" button on the remote control.
• Aim the remote at the TV and press the
channel buttons to make sure the TV is unlocked. When the TV is locked, it
shows a black screen and does not allow you to view anything else. If the
screen remains black, press the "Lock" button again. If this doesn't
work, change the batteries in the remote and start over at step .
