Toshiba notebook Satellite Pro 4300

A few questions need your help:

1. How to get to BIOS?

2. Screen is dark, sometimes can't see things. How to adjust the brightness of the screen?

3. A WINDOWS XP installed with another person's name, how to delete the name from the WINDOWS XP?

My model is: PS432U-0L1538
S/N is: 90987333U

- Problem 3 resolved by opening system management and replace the existing name by my own name.

Problems 1 and 2 not resolved. Tech support said to enter BIOS setup by clicking Esc key. But it didn't work for me. Tech support also said enter brightness adjustment by press and hold Fn and click F7. It didn't work for me either.

bios is through F2 on launch

hmmm...Fn and F5 usually...or there should be a brightness key on keyboard.
