Problem 3 resolved by opening system management and replace the existing name by my own name.

Problems 1 and 2 not resolved. Tech support said to enter BIOS setup by clicking Esc key. But it didn't work for me. Tech support also said enter brightness adjustment by press and hold Fn and click F7. It didn't work for me either.

You need to reformat or reprogram your laptop, due to hardisk crush. have the bios start up shows when you open your laptop? if not it has a hardware problem, you need to bring it to service center to fix it.

There are usaually a standard to getting into BIOS at boot up. Sometimes you have to be quick.
Tha most common keys to press are as follows

1. F1
2. F2
3. F10
4. F12
5. Del

Try those. not all together try a different one on each boot. you must do it during post, and if echo is turned off it is just a timing issue. It must be pressed before O.S. post screen, ie. " Windows" shows on screen.

Let us know if this helped you.

Thank you

The screen is easy to replace, I suggest you do it yourself. Bellow are a couple of links that will help. Looks like the screen will run approx $150. There is one listed on Ebay now that is up for bid, you may be able to get this one cheaper. If you decide to take it to a shop to have it replaced you can add another $50 minimum.,toshiba.shtml
